The St. Patrick Finance Council consists of six appointed members, the two trustees and Msgr. Jerry Ward.  We are also greatly assisted by our bookkeeper Sandi Remmes.

 

We assist Msgr. Ward in making financial decisions concerning our church.  Some of the Council's tasks include budgeting income and expense items, reviewing monthly financial statements, coordinating the Annual Diocesan Appeal, and communicating the church's needs to our congregation.

 

Meetings
We usually meet on the third Monday of each month. What's a typical meeting involve? We review financial statements summarizing the church's monthly and year-to-date financial activities. The building fund activity is reviewed.  We also compare our budgeted amounts with our actual figures.  We discuss upcoming events and anything that Msgr. Ward would like a financial opinion on.

 

Council Members

Council members usually serve three-year terms and are limited to two terms (six years).

Talk to Msgr. Ward and let him know of your interest.  We usually have an opening or two each summer.  Members are appointed by the pastor.
